Join a dedicated community of like-minded Californians united in protecting parental rights, medical freedom, and family choice.

Your tiered annual commitment connects you directly to this growing inner circle—scaling our advocacy to reach over 1 million citizen actions per session across every school district, city, and legislative district, so millions of families become active voices in policy. It sustains our Sacramento lobbyist fighting harmful bills and championing reforms, expands statewide education and activation efforts, and strengthens our influence for critical vetoes. Most importantly, it powers our vision: introducing pro-freedom laws to safeguard these rights, building alliances with key legislators, and creating lasting protections against overreach. As a member, you're not just supporting the cause—you're part of a connected network where your voice is amplified, your engagement deepened, and your commitment to California's families truly felt.

Contributions to IPA are not tax deductible at this time. All contributions of $25 or more qualify the donor for IPA membership for 365 days. IPA members receive a variety of benefits associated with their membership level. To see a full list of these benefits, visit our donation page here.

Membership levels are calculated on an annual basis. For example, if you choose to pay $10 per month, you’ll be considered a Silver Member ($100+ donated annually) and will receive all the benefits of that tier.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean that IPA is a 501(c)(4) organization, and are memberships tax-deductible?

IPA is a 501(c)(4) organization. This structure gives us the freedom to engage in strong advocacy, lobbying, and policy influence—without the restrictions of traditional 501(c)(3) charities. It lets us aggressively fight harmful bills, push pro-freedom reforms, build influence in Sacramento, and mobilize millions of Californians. As a result, memberships and contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations for federal tax purposes. That said, many of our most committed supporters choose membership for exactly this reason—our ability to deliver real, sustained impact. Your tiered commitment powers:

  • Scaling advocacy to over 1 million citizen actions per legislative session statewide

  • Permanent lobbyists blocking bad bills and advancing protections

  • Strong access for vetoes and long-term safeguards

  • Bold strategies to permanently secure parental rights, medical freedom, and consumer choice

Most importantly, membership connects you to a passionate inner circle of like-minded Californians. You get exclusive updates, community events, deeper engagement, priority resources, and the satisfaction of being part of a unified force that policymakers can’t ignore. If tax-deductibility is key, we appreciate any support—but for high-impact advocacy and true belonging in the movement reshaping California’s future, membership is one of the most powerful ways to get involved.

What is the difference between a subscription and a membership?

Both are wonderful ways to support our mission—we’re grateful for every bit of help.

A subscription is a flexible, recurring gift (monthly or annual) that directly fuels our programs and impact. No minimum, no extra commitment—just your ongoing support and the knowledge you’re making a real difference.

A membership builds on that generosity. For a tiered recurring contribution starting at $5, you become an official member and unlock exclusive perks like priority event invitations, members-only updates, and special recognition. It’s recurring support with added benefits and a deeper sense of community and belonging.

Current supporters: Your contributions are the foundation of our work—thank you! You never need to switch to membership.
